Nudity in the Bathroom

What an amazing feeling it is to paint directly on walls. This is my first mural and my first time not painting on a canvas. Shapes and forms from previous paintings find themselves in this project. With black lines and dragged brush strokes, a simple yet statement project came to life! I worked the faces and forms around the fixed structures in the room to give a natural movement to the rigid black lines. The ceilings reach over 20 feet—when you walk into the space, there is much to take in. But that is what a statement powder room is all about!
