It really is a special feeling to paint someone you know and love. It really felt like she was in the room with me. I created her first, then moved on to the background. So she was there, watching me, cheering me on, and helping me along the journey.

She is truly a bright light to whoever is lucky enough to know her. I think that’s why she glows and lights up the painting the way she does!
