This painting is of my older sister and me. As I painted, I saw our personalities and characters come to life. I’m looking up towards her as I do in real life. She’s always experienced the chapters of life before me and been gracious in helping me take steps into maturity. She’s given me advice and cautioned me of what may come my way. She’s been there for me as I go through everything. So, in this piece, I look up to her in that same light.
